Spanish walk – prepare the way (May 2023).
In Spain, early in the morning, I (Dan) was out for a walk. The dusty track took me through orange trees and past little small holdings. About 1 hour into this walk, praying as I went, I came across a guy on his tractor ploughing out the sides of the track. He was carving out a deep V either side for the rain to run off the road. The only problem was, it was 25 degrees in May and was months from receiving rain. I sensed the Holy Spirit pause me and ask, “Why is he doing this Dan?”. So I answered, I guess he is acting in faith, knowing that the rain may not come this week or this month, but if he doesn’t prepare now, the path (the way) will be unclear or washed away. Then I sensed the Holy Spirit speak into me saying “and this is what I want you to do, prepare, for there will be an outpouring and if you wait to ready the church for that moment, you will be ill prepared, so start moving by faith”.
