As a part of the JCC Courses offer, we are delighted to invite you to join our London Walk with Ben Virgo of Christian Heritage London on Saturday 22 February, 2020.
London’s Christian history is amazing: people like Wilberforce, Whitefield, Tyndale, Wesley, John Newton, Elizabeth Fry, John Bunyan and many others have history here, within walking distance of each other. Meanwhile in the British Museum there is actual Bible history: artefacts associated with Abraham, Hezekiah, Daniel, Isaiah, Paul and many others.
We will meet our guide, Ben Virgo, at 10.00 on the steps of the British Museum after your, personally arranged, train journey to Warren Street Underground. (Buy a ticket that includes London transport bus and underground travel). We first spend time in the British Museum (admission free) discovering artefacts connected with Abraham, Hezekiah, Daniel, Esther, Nehemiah, Paul and others.
We will then spend the rest of the day exploring Wilberforce’s, Spurgeon’s and Whitefield’s London: gospel heroes whose history is in London.
The complete day’s walk is less than one mile but is crammed full of excitement!
Join this, one day (10.00 – 16.00), guided walk through London’s Christian history, to discover how the gospel has changed the world.
The cost of the guided walking tour is £25 per person. Further details are available here: https://johnrsevans.wixsite.com/22february
