In the lead up to lent, I had such high hopes of what I could do and how I could spend time getting closer to God. I could stop comfort eating when I felt busy or stressed and put my reliance more on God instead, or I could go for short walks to pray, as often as I could, near where I live.

These are good things to do, however, recently God has stopped me in my tracks. The Glo Easter trip’s theme ‘All or Nothing’ has been stuck in my head and I have realised for me to be devoted to God- to give my all to him; it is the small bad habits that I need to break, which will currently have the biggest impact on my walk with God. For me, it is knowing when to rest; stopping my work at a reasonable time on a week night and finishing everyday with God. What is it for you?
