  • Apostles and Disciples
  • Principles of Discipleship

o   Separation

o   To be with him

o   To be sent out

o   Personal call

o   Called to be part of community

  • “And they came to him.”

o   What if they hadn’t responded?

o   we are called by name:

  • We have the call of the life of Jesus
  • We have the call of the death of Jesus
  • We have the call of his resurrection
  • We have the call of his presence today

Challenges to provoke Discussion

  • Am I part of the crowd or am I a disciple?
  • If people followed me, would they become more like my Rabbi – Jesus?
  • There is in discipleship a decision to separate oneself from the crowd in response to the call of Christ – am I noticeably different because of my relationship with Christ?

How close do I put myself with Jesus?
