“He is not here, he has risen!”

Seven words that changed the world. That moment when two seemingly insignificant women heard the transforming news of the gospel. Twenty years later Paul would write;

” And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead!”

Paul is clear the Christian faith stands or falls on the resurrection. Christianity is a relationship not a religion. A relationship with a living saviour not a dead moral teacher.

Here at jubilee we rejoice in the fact of the resurrection every day, but we also join with the wider church in celebrating the resurrection on Easter Sunday. (20th April)

This year we are delighted to welcome our friend and international speaker and author Adrian Holloway. Adrian was formerly a radio and TV presenter who started his working life as a football reporter for the Times newspaper. His book the shock of your life, together with the follow up publication “after shock” has been translated into many languages. Together they tackle some of the most common objections to the Christian faith and the life changing implications of the life of Christ.

We will also be celebrating believers baptism as people bear witness to the impact of the resurrection on their lives.

Why not come and join us?
