Each year Glo Youth goes away for a few days over the Easter holidays. This year, we will be going back to Urban Saints Westbrook, Isle of Wight; a residential centre for youth and school groups, near Ryde, on the Isle of Wight. We will be taking advantage of the 26 acre site that Urban Saints Westbrook has to offer, including use of their indoor heated swimming pool, 9 acres of woodland, and games room with ping pong tables as well as receiving relevant Christian teaching and worship sessions from our own Glo leadership team.

Details: We will be meeting at JCC at 8:45am on Wednesday 30th March and returning to JCC on Sunday 3rd April at approximately 4pm.

Cost: The weekend will cost £110 per child for payments returned by Sunday 28th Feb, after which the price will increase to £120. A cheque (made payable to Jubilee Community Church) or cash should be returned along with the consent/registration form and young person’s agreement to the Jubilee Community Church Office or to a Glo leader.

Team: The Glo Team are caring for the young people whilst at the Easter Trip. Pete Benton will lead the group, should you need to contact him for any reason his number is 0783445583. Please note the Centre may have bad phone signal, you can contact Urban Saints Westbrook for emergencies: 01983 811 118. It is the policy of Jubilee Community Church that all members of the Glo Youth work are DBS checked.

Catering: We will be eating together at Westbrook, with food being provided by the centre. Please make it obvious on your Consent Form if your child has any dietary requirements.

Consent/registration forms & Young Person’s Agreement: Our Jubilee Community Church 0-18s Contact, Medical and Consent forms cover most of the consent and information required for this trip, however there are additional activities, such as swimming, which are not covered. Please complete the attached consent/registration form and return with your payment. If you have not yet completed and returned a 0-18s Contact, Medical and Consent form or if there have been any changes to your child’s information, please return a new form or let us know as soon as possible. In order to communicate the rules to the young people we also ask that they complete and return a young person’s agreement form, which you will find included.

If you have any further questions regarding the Easter Trip, please do not hesitate to contact Pete (pete@jcceg.co.uk) or Kat (kat@jcceg.co.uk) at the Jubilee Community Church office (01342 328334).
