It’s rare that we talk about matters such as spiritual growth, and even rarer that we give account of our intended growth in faith. So these testimonies and blogs have encouraged my soul and spurred me forward in my own journey, let’s not stop sharing and talking in this way! Testimony produces testimony…
I decided to focus on one area for this 40 days of devotion – Healing. I’ve seen the power of God heal individuals from deafness, spinal injuries, HIV aids and knee pain. However as Tim Hughes put it in a song “I don’t wanna get there (heaven) to find there was so much more” and I do believe there’s so much more!
So I committed myself to studying, reading and most importantly praying for healing. I had 1 biography, 6 preaches, and a daily study taking one healing from the bible a time plus the aim to learn 3 scriptures by heart all for the purpose of seeing fresh power and authority.
I can now say that I have read the biography, listened to 2 preaches on healing, studied 11 scriptures and learnt 1 off by heart. But it’s from today that the rubber hits the road as I join with the Father and pray.
So bless you for your devotion to God the last 40 days, but let’s push on in our faith in view of His Love for us.
