It is the time of year when we begin to think about recruiting some new people to join us at JCC to do an IMPACT year. G and Dan have been serving us fantastically this year but over the summer they will move on to pastures new.
Impact is a year programme that we have been running for 14 years, hosting lots of young (and older) men and women who want to spend a year serving the Church and growing in their relationship with God. Those who choose to do Impact here get to do lots of theological study, receive training and development in their chosen area and get to exercise and grow in their skills and giftings, as well as being exposed to wider areas of church life and trying new things. The year is primarily all about discipleship, it is challenging and fun but most importantly life changing!
Impact students attend monthly training days at Broadstone Warren with other Impacters from New Ground churches in the South East and also have a trip to Centre Parcs and the opportunity to join an overseas missional trip.
This year, we are offering 3 Impact places with roles in Communications, Centre Management, Worship, Youth, Kids, 0-4s and Administration.
