Series:

Sun 12th October 'Hallowed be your name' Matt 6:9

Key Scriptures: Isaiah 6:1-4, Revelation 4, Psalm 115:1

Main Point: that God would be treated with the highest honour and set apart as holy. That our prayers and our lives would primarily be about worshipping Him!

Application Questions:

  1. What response should a knowledge of God’s otherness/holiness stir in us?
  2. How should the belief that all ultimately comes from God affect our outlook on life?
  3. Are you aware of any area in your life where you don’t honour Him as ultimate? Repent and Pray that God will help you to hallow His name in every area of your life.

Worship – Try to sing one or two worship songs/hymns each day this week that focus on glorifying God. Pick a Psalm that glorifies God, read it out loud, or why not try singing it to God as worship. Choose one of Gods names and spend time thinking over it and thanking God for who He is.
