Isaac. Gen.18-28 Passing on the promises of God to the next Generation
- You have great and mighty promises from the covenant keeping God, JEHOVAH. Promises packaged in great names like Isaac to make you and the next generation laugh.
- Isaac re-dug wells that his father had dug which were filled by the philistines.
He dug his own well as well. And found water both times!! Come Holy Spirit.
Passed on core values - e.g. on marriage.
- Rehoboth- God makes room for you when you obey
- Isaac had faith to accept the sovereign will of God. His father's offering of him and his blessing of Jacob
- Esau - actions have consequences
