Key Scriptures: 1 Kings 3:5-14, 1 Kings 4:29-34, Proverbs 1:1-7, James 1:5–8 , Acts 5:1-11, 1 Cor 1:18-31
Application Questions:
1) Wisdom – What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom? How have you benefitted from the wisdom of God?
2) Learning – How do you best learn and grow in wisdom? Who is currently speaking into your life bringing guidance? What did you last listen to or read that fed your soul?
3) Reverence – In the early church “everyone was filled with awe” (Acts 2:43) How do we grow in reverence and respect, getting lost in wonder of who he is? Spend some time looking up, naming, listing and declaring the attributes of God.
4) Salvation – 1 Cor 1:18-31. God’s wisdom is displayed in the message of the cross. Pray for those who see the cross as folly… that they may see the power of the cross and experience God’s saving grace.
